That is lovely, and i appreciate the tutorial. Been sewing (quilting) for years and have always been afraid of foundation piecing, decided to give it a try. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this Rachel. You make fpp look so easy & I'm glad that you left the mistake in the video as it's reassuring for us anxiety-ridden perfectionists to see that even you have to unpick sometimes 😂 Hugs, M.

Such a sweet block! Wish I had seen a tutorial like this when I was beginning FPP. Now, I really love to do it, sewing along the lines is fun! I bought the pattern you showed in an earlier video for the Outline Star. I’m making the 8” ones, and boy are those strips tiny! I trimmed the pieces to 1/8 inch so the seam allowance wouldn’t interfere with the next piece.

It's so much fun isn't it! Oh gosh I bet that is really fiddly, it will turn out beautiful though ❤️

Thank you so much, Rachel for this tutorial. You made it so easy to understand. I’m going to give it a try with the scraps from a baby quilt I made recently. Can you share a tutorial on how to make the project bag?

Hi Rachel Great tutorial. Can I be cheeky and ask where you got your lime green rotary cutter from? I love green, and it’s the type of cutter that I like as the blade retracts when you’re not using it. Thanks x
@stitchwithrachel8 ай бұрын
Hi Sue, my sister actually gave it to me. Fun fact she is left handed and not all rotary cutter work for her because of the way she holds the ruler but I believe she brought it from amazon but it was in a starter kit with a cutting mat and ruler. I hope that helps, they may sell it individually

Thanks Rachel I did look on Amazon, but think they’ve maybe changed all their colours! Never mind I’ll keep looking! Thanks for coming back to me x@@stitchwithrachel

I admire your work. I'm very glad I was introduced to your art. My main craft is crocheting - and I have never been good friends with sawing machines 😅 Is it possible to do this by hand-stiching ? Or it's better to do this other way then like epp technique for example? Sorry for this newbie question 😅
@stitchwithrachel4 ай бұрын
Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of sewing! You can do foundation paper piecing by hand, I have a vidoe tutorial up on my page about that, its a little long winded so if you are looking for hand sewing maybe EPP is a good option to start with. Happy stitching.
