This type of copter isn't a very popular type but there are a few of us that find these really interesting and intriguing. I hope you can get it flying!!!

Keep trying Pawel, just a thought, when you roll and alter the speed of one motor that will always affect yaw surely

Just be careful when holding this thing armed in your hand. What I liked the most was the title "just some random talk in Polish". And then: "Ku**a!" 😜😁👍

That's why they put them on planes. Because of all it takes to control it. The wing of a plane creates stability

I would tilt the motors away from Center just a little bit, like maybe 5 to 10 degrees, to increase the positive lateral drag. I can demonstrate this, take a 1 meter long string and place it inside a drinking straw. Hold each end of the string in one hand, and let the straw rest in the middle. The straw is the bicopter and your hands and string are the thrust line. As you try to move the straw with your hands directly over the top, you'll find it difficult, but if you pull your hands apart just a little bit you can increase your control of the straw.

Turn the flying direction 90°. It's not going to work the way you have it setup now. You're relying on the bottom weight, which will always be changing (battery weight/centrifugal force/inertia), to determine thrust and servo rotation. I would have thought you'd have already figured this out. Good luck!

Maybe u can also design the landing skids for some sort of the legs for the motor. Standing on landing skids/legs is more stable than standing on the battery strap.

I think you need the weight to be concentrated in the pitch axis, not roll axis.

It's a "flying bicycle" so I suggest adding stabilisers.

Hi Pawel, sorry to "Hi-Jack" this vid but wanted to contact you. I am new to your channel because I am searching for T16/open TX info.I have just bought a T16 and totally out my depth on the setup! I read open tx was for people that like to do advance mixing and programming etc and can be very complicated BUT I did not think setting up the basic functions is so complicated. I am only going to use for heli and fix wing, my old specktrum dx7 as broke, on that I would use ,servo reverse, travel adjust, expo, pitch/throttle curves ,all these I can not even find in the menu! the T16 came with mode2 which is correct for me BUT the stick channels need moving to suit me,i can not find how to do that.I have seen your how to on "using trims like a pro" would you ever do a vid on showing how to set up the functions I mention for the newbs to open tx. I have been looking for over a week on how to use the T16 with no luck. I have tried forums with no replys or help at all. I think a lot of guys are buying this opentx stuff with no intention of using the vast scope of it BUT intend to use it just like a basic computer radio BUT with the ability of the multi protocol.I would certainly pay for a mauaul or vid on the setup and sure many others would

These are kind of starting to be talked about again due to their low weight (beating the sub 250 gram laws) and long flight time for camera work. Just about to build one myself and came across your video, will use it as a starting reference design.

What servos did you use? And your frame looks heavy as hell, too much mass and it will have major issues controlling pitch.

@@FPVUniversity a bicopter requires digital servos, those you used are no where near fast or accurate enough.

So you have to calculate how much yaw tilt to add to each servo (less tilt to faster spinning motor?) how exquisitely complicated 😁😁

Really interested in this project. I have a similar one in mind using ducted fans for thrust. Won’t ever get flown outside and just needs to self level and hover with very gentle movements. I am watching this iwthninterest

Up to 16 servos. But it depends on the hardware you use. Or you can use one if the serial ports to output sbus stream

@@FPVUniversity I am using Matek F765 I need some advice I am building a Dual rotor VTOL plane Which is similar to Bicopter But it has control surface and only Two tile motor for vertical and forward transition Just like( Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey). Currently I am using arduapilot firmware but it is too complex for me and No-one have ever built such type of VTOL . Can i build a dual Rotor VTOL using INAV Software Or betaflight ?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/pICTgqifl5ipg5o - I think it´s a matter off mass. As shown by David it could work. As more as mass you have in the main body as less it is moved by the servo when its trying to change tilt of the Motor.
