What FPV system, drone and battery did you use for this kind of penetration and long range? I'm guessing something Analog or HDZero? I doubt DJI could maintain VTX transmission at this altitude.

it's a good old TBS Caipi 2 (the best and fantastic Wing ever), this flight is taken with a analog system. but i have upgrade the Setup to the HD System (DJI Air Unit, the first digital system). You can do this flights also with a HD System (DJI, Walksnail). the flights was taken bevor the law for drones, we started the FPV flights at 2013 😎

Do you search for airline flight path before flying that high? I want to try but scared of hitting planes 😆

Hi, yes of course. ==> "managed .. air traffic .." in the comments ... we had this flight, before all the Drone rules comes out. The time was nice for FPV Pilots. Not everybody (beginner) has do manage an FPV flyed, you had to do something before you fly (build, electric know how, etc.) ... so only the people how know what they do, are flyed FPV. Now, everyone can do it ... that's Crazy.
