848phantom Hiya Ciaran nice to hear from you, thanks for taking the time to look at the video.. the vTX is the Immersion 5.8ghz 600mw, the camera is the GoPro hero 3, the gimble is the DJI Zenmuse, the ground station is the Black Pearl 7 inch diversity screen receiver using Immersion patch, and scewplaner antenna's. that flight was only 1.1km distance from myself the only problem was that the bridge was a lot lower than the cliff top so it meant that when I dropped slightly lower over the back of the cliff top I started to loose the 2.4ghz radio signal, when that occurs the Zenmuse gimble lowers the camera down and up again that's why if you look closely at the video when its above the little cottage the video jumps slightly that's where I edited out the video going up and down a few times. At the minute my furthest distance is 3.1kms, still excellent 5.8ghz video, and 2.4ghz radio signals. Best regards happy landings Brian.

Brian Hough I had watched this before and didn't realise it was your video until you told me to look up your channel. I think I need to change the antenna on mine.I have the emersion 5.8 but the video signal drops off really easy with you go behind trees even. Haven't had the nerve to try Andy good distances with the phantom yet, just keeping within line of sight around local areas around Antrim town.maybe hit this coast this summer.
