Father, your sermon was very good in terms of duties of parents towards children especially when children are small, but seemed incomplete to me in the way of duties of adult children towards their parents, especially aged ones. You left out the important commandment of God "Honor your Father and your Mother." 2..Jesus' said; When I was hungry you fed me, thirsty and you have me drink, naked and you clothed me, lonely and old and you visited me - this refers also to aged parents, by grown children since Charity begins at home. 3. Jesus' rebuke to the Pharisees that "You say, if you make a money offering to the temple, you call it 'kurban" and thus exempt yourselves from the duty of financial assistance to your parents, which in effect breaks God important Law of honouring your Father and Mother." And also in the book of Sirach 3 - the whole chapter is on Duties to Parents including "Son, take care of your Father when he grows old and give him no cause for worry as long as he lives. Be sympathetic even if his mind fails, do not look down on him because you are strong and healthy. The Lord will not forget kindness shown to a Father, it will make up for all your sins. When you are in trouble the Lord will remember your kindness and will help you, your sins will melt away like frost. Whoever abandons his parents or gives them cause for anger may as well be cursing the Lord. He is already under the Lord's curse." Lastly we see in Genesis that Isaac took care of Abraham in his old age until his death, keeping him in his own separate tent and providing for all his needs until his death. And, if we don't heed and honour and care for our earthly father and mother, how will we honour our heavenly Father (Holy God)and our heavenly mother Our Lady? The bond between parents and children is reciprocal - not one sided - not just parents provide for children. This is important for all Catholic families to know.

Do you really think that God is punishing you because you didn't keep your promise? No my dear sister. Our God is a loving God and this is not his trait. If u r not having a baby there are other reasons to it. Pray to God to break all the barriers and he will bless u with the gift of a child. Go to God through mother Mary. Pray her rosary with faith and she will intercede for you for a baby. Your bundle of joy is on its way. Amen!
