True my sister every person woman or man is free- in and by Jesus Christ... we all can stand on our own as long as we have our deliverer stand by us... but the question is, having this confidence that He stands by us, are we willing to be his family and friend and faithful disciples and stand by those who don't yet have Christ? especially our oppressors? because in actuality they need it more that's why in their sickness they oppress others... and that's why the Lord said Love those who hate you pray for those who persecute you... so yes we all stand firm as individuals... but the key is to remember that we stand for God... apologies if I have spoken out of context... I don't really know what you heart feels but reading what you wrote just felt I can relate to it....
