So much has changed since this homily was made. The Pope has issued Amoris Letitia. Some faithful Cardinals have created the Dubia. The Pope is still giving them the silent treatment. Cardinal Meisner has died of a broken heart. Everything is moving so fast now. We need homilies like this. Thank God for Sensus Fidelium and priests like this.

Unfortunately homilies in our churches are wishy-washy. Thank you Fr. Isaac for your courage and for telling us the truth about the sinful lives in these relationships. Our sin of "birth control" has created this church sell-off and unfortunately I have never heard any priest talk about it in our dioceses.

Just like he said, yes we can and should. A child who is baptized a Catholic but one day dies and goes to hell suffers far more than an unbaptized child since that indelible mark burns his soul, whereas the unbaptized soul has no mark. If the priest is certain the child will not be raised as a Catholic it will be uncharitable to baptize him.
