I have thoroughly enjoyed all your Inside the Friary shows. What a beautiful way of life for our Lord! Having grown up on a dairy farm and my Mama’s and Meemaw’s gardens where we kids helped to harvest the bounty, not to mention the delicious food they yielded which we enjoyed eating, I can appreciate your blessed life inside the friary.

Thank you for this installment Father Joseph! I just discovered the Inside and Outside the Friary series and am working my way through them. They are fabulous! Thank you for sharing your Mary Garden and vegetable garden with us. My family turned to EWTN as a source of daily Mass when the shutdown started. EWTN is always on our TV now. I remember when you asked for roses and remember mentioning to my wife that we need to send some, when that morning, you asked everyone to stop. The Chapel looked so beautiful in May with all of the roses. I saw that they kept coming. We offered our roses through the Rosary, as you suggested. Thank you for explaining how people honored our Lady through time by remembering her in common names for flowers and herbs. It looks like your vegetable garden produced a nice harvest this year. We're into the fall season now, and this video caused me to remember how we yearn for fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers during the winter months...at least in the north. Please know that your family members sincerely appreciate your ministry and work in all of its aspects. May God continue to bless you, EWTN and the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word in all of the good things you do.

How could any garden of yours NOT thrive? Your TV and online parishioners are also thriving under your loving care. God Bless you + everyone at EWTN, and God bless Mother Angelica for her "garden" of EWTN- - a garden whose miraculous fruit keeps on giving. ❤️✝️❤️

Thank you, Father, for the simplicity with which you convey important basics of Religion. It's often difficult to put theory into practice, but your clip on the Mary Garden is a great case in point. I believe that the BVM, who leads us to her Divine Son, can be seen in the simplest, daily chores - a veritable continuous Prayer throughout the day! God bless you and the Community!

I love your little Mary’s Garden. All of your gardens are beautiful! Oh I love yellow squash! The way I cook yellow squash is this; first I boil the squash with onion then I drain it, put stewed tomatoes in pot with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, a little sugar to cut the tartness of tomato. Simmer, add squash, heat. Meanwhile I’ve made a pot of rice. I serve the squash over the rice, put cheese ( cheddar or Swiss or pepper jack) on top and microwave till cheese is melted. Enjoy! If y’all make it I hope you like it! That is my meal.

I love discovering the Friar's KZbin sharing, and it is a special treat to enjoy your garden for my first visit. I garden in the desert, and we are in the fallow season - 100 degrees and above. I never heard of a Mary garden before. Now I am thinking of how to accomplish this. You are giving me inspiration for planting season in September. Thank you for giving us a window into your world outside of Mass. It helps enlarge the feeling of being together in family.
