She seems to understand it perfectly and probably speaks it OK too, but she’s maybe not comfortable with speaking English on camera? Some Swedes can have a quite thick accent and forget some words here and there which they are ashamed of, or just not be their true personality when expressing themselves in English.

Someone told me she was also participating in The Masked Singer, but with an English song (all of her discography is Swedish), so she didn't judges to know it was her. Honestly makes sense because Melofest is the biggest thing of the year and Eurovision is just the afterparty (although in cases in Loreen, it's the well-awaited sequel).
