This is a collection of different vehicles from the Police Nationale, Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris and Mairie de Paris responding too and in the area of the Notre Dame Cathedral fire in the 3rd Arrondissement of Paris. In this video you can see some specialist units - Search and Rescue, Communications units, a Police Nationale homeless assistance van and 3 units from Mairie de Paris (the City). Enjoy!

Now an archbishop is claiming that there is a fifty percent chance that Notre Dame Cathedral will not be saved. I cried at that news story; much like how I cried when I first received news of the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral. Still, we as society should be grateful that no one was killed or injured as a result of the fire. As a history buff; the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral reminded me of a fire at King's Cross Station in London back in 1987. Thirty-one people were killed at King's Cross Station that chilly London night in November of 1987.

Neither can I. When I first got wind of the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral; I was one of many who foolishly jumped to the conclusion that the fire was the result of arson; but the fire inspectors declared the fire to be accidental; having resulted from the renovation work.

It didnt take 3 hours I can assure you. They were very quick at responding. This footage was filmed at about 7:30pm or there about which is near the time when the fire was first reported.

Le problème c'est que les marques Françaises avec leur évolution vers le haut de gamme font monter les prix, et donc il devient compliquer pour les services de secours de se procurer des véhicules FR, du coté des utilitaires les Renault Master sont assez cher, en tout cas plus cher que les Ford Transit. Ici la question n'est pas la fierté nationale, mais la course aux économies budgétaires.

It was the result of the renovation work on the Cathedral. Like many others; I foolishly assumed that the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral was the result of arson given how the fire occurred close to Easter.
