Thanks for the info on CNC MADNESS. That is how we learn things much of the time, right? I own the FR7 frame which I bought over a year ago but have not built yet. I am going to be building the Project 399 10" soon. I have the frame, the motors, and the props, as well as wide choice of ESCs and FCs. I need to find out if the Hobbywing 60A is strong enough to handle BH Tornado 3115/1050kv motors. I'm thinking it should be, but not sure. Hey I posted on your Chimera 7 video from November and thought it was recent. Thank you for posting what you post.

@@tyranasazi3818 nothing wrong with a boxer 4 and a good scoop. My mom actually hat a legacy limited for years back in Illinois, it romped pretty good. Besides, I can get stuck on wet asphalt 😢😆, first gear goes to like 65 so slip the clutch and if it doesn’t grab its game over.

Just wait for the FR10 video, I’m actually some what scared to fly it.... it’s gotta be over 1kg without the battery or GoPro. The props weigh 29g each 😆. Between you an @copternut I just can’t compete with your scenery from down under. 🤩

Airblade UAV sells the 7” kit which is what I had. I decided to make it an 8” before I started the build and got the 8” arms cut from CNCMADNESS. I think they’ll do the entire frame for you if you want to go that route (stand offs and screws included). CNCMADNESS cut my FR10 frame that I’m working on finishing this week as well. All my FR TPU comes from BMC3D, he’s good at doing custom prints and the TPU is solid.

Close to default pids, backed off D a bit if I remember correctly (FR frames aren’t the cleanest noise profile)

@@fpvkagge yeah I’m a fan of the AOS stuff, you can’t argue with the BB logs of those frames. Especially going past the 6”-7” having a clean stiff frame just makes life so much simpler 🤣. I ended up re building this with 2812s, fried an esc and it’s back in my closet for now
