I hope you got the job and best wishes. I think it the best kind of work job I had everyday I felt like I did something. Every person there has a job that need to be done and your one of the most important job roles at this frac jobs. With out the Chemicals and Acid what happen underground would not be possible. First of all be ready to work long days in hard environments weather. Know that the money and family brother and sister hood you build with this people you work along side will be a great prices. Take snacks, get rest when you can you will have alot of long working days and we lost alot of people falling asleep at the wheel after long days working in the oil fields. It one of my biggest fears. So when you can give your mind and body that rest it needs. Learn all you can't always be there ready to work but when your time come to take days off or time off take it. This company's will Milk the life out of you and spit you out. Then get a new person, that being said you just want the open the door to a unlimited opportunity. Company will training you. You just need to want to learn and you will be so valuable to them and other company's. There is always a need for a hard workers. Sorry for the late message I hope the job is been good to you. Thank you.

@@diesel2008spI just recently got my CDL. School had us driving an 8 speed. Do oilfield companies fully expect you to already know how to drive 13/18 speed trucks heavily loaded or do they try to teach you a bit more? I got a job offer but I’m worried they won’t be patient with me.
@diesel2008sp4 ай бұрын
@405ruben what company did you get with? I work for a small company and they kind of just do a small Test and let you go. Maybe pair you with another teacher or driver. My old company I work for was a big oil field company they would have you train for 1000 miles with a teacher and they would pair you with a driver. Plus they would send you to driver school for two weeks. So really it all depends on the company you work for. Best wishes brother and be safe out there.

@@diesel2008sp It’s a company called Gore Nitrogen in Oklahoma. The most manual labor I’ve ever done was warehouse work so we’ll see how it goes! I already have orientation scheduled but I should probably ask about the drive training beforehand. I’d hate to make myself look like a fool when I can’t even get the truck out of the yard fully loaded lol

How long do you have to stay there? how many hours? How far away are the bathrooms?
@diesel2008sp5 ай бұрын
I work a schedule of 14 days on 7 days off. There are different schedules like 5 on 2 off, 14 on 14 off, 20 on 10 off. There is different schedule. I work on a 24 hour schedule jobs so two crews they work 12 hours from 5:30am to 5:30pm day shift, 5:30pm to 5:30am night. But add two, three hours to your shift. For travel to the jobsite they are paid travel. I work a 15 to 17 hour shift. Some of these locations are 30 minutes to 2 hours, alway one way from our company yard. Bathrooms are here plastic out houses right now it's 110F, so it feels like 500F inside their worst feeling, hahaha, and in the winter, it's an ice box. But we live this oil field life because we are crazy and this pays us the most money. Best wishes, I hope you find your way this way.
