Thank you explaining that so clearly. I'm going to try that out right now!

Very cool. Didn't know the FX-III could do that. Thanks

I have used it with delay, reverb, gain, 3 band eq.. I like the phaser idea. I have an Axe Fx III and a FM3. I run the FM3 to a Boogie power amp into two 2 x 12’s in true stereo. It is fantastic. Play around with power amp sim on & off.. I have been pleasantly surprised. Best investment in gear I ever made. Fractal is dirt cheap considering what you get… Thanks for the video.

Thanks for watching! I will definitely play with the power amp sim.

Great to see you shredding again! I don't have the cash for anything out of the box that isn't my tiny pedal board. But boy does it sound good. Similar tech to what I use for recording midi with my guitar. Killer processing in these boxes these days.

That's a cool feature. I've seen some guys use it to have an octave down effect when they play low then it turns off when you get high on the neck.

Interesting! I’ll have to try that.

So, are you saying that the pitch follower is set to only pick up high pitches from above the 12th fret? I guess I didn't see the explanation of why it doesn't pick up anything in the lower register. Is that just the way it is set from the factory? Where is that some other setting that I don't see here? I totally understand how all of this works. I just don't understand why it's just picking up the notes above the 12th fret. Thx

The way I have it set, it "mostly" kicks in above the 12th fret. It will start to kick in on the high E and B around fret 8. D and G around the 12th fret, and then low E and A a little higher up. For me, you won't hear it at all playing chords that hover around fret 7 and lower. Sometimes it will briefly kick in for pinch harmonics and such, since they produce frequencies high enough to trigger it. Otherwise, the effect gradually mixes in depending on what string you are on starting around fret 8 and then becomes more noticeable as you noodle above 12. If you check out my "auto-wah" video, I have the slope and offset set a little better so the transition is more exact. Great question!

I agree the Axe FXIII is amazing (you will find several videos on my channel) but that Ibanez Rocket Roll is the STAR of the show :)

@@ccavera here is the best one with my Rocket Roll and the Axe III - My Rocket Roll is the version with whammy bar, and unfortunately, somebody replaced the neck pickup. Actually, a Rocket Roll very similar to the one I have (same only with the original neck pickup) was the first electric guitar, I ever played, and the one I learned to play on kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5XLdoWff82Cp5I

Put it on your friend’s volume and have them fade out as they go higher - just don’t let them see you doing it 😂

This is a genius idea! Should do it right before a show so they blame the sound engineer.
