@@woodendoors9532 First off, you probably don't know the first thing about the use of pentatonic scales, and it's time you learned instead of making pathetic comments: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnO5h3l3bJaUftU kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKKpdZybp6-cnK8 This idea that pentatonic scales are musically invalid is childish and demonstrates your lack of a musical education. Stop repeating things you've heard if you don't know what the heII you're talking about. And boomers? Most boomers I know cut their teeth on musicians like Benson, Martino, Corea, Hancock, and Brecker, etc. Pentatonic scales are useful for a knowledgable musician as part of a repertoir of musical ideas. Most of the musicians I grew up around relied on one thing, and it was NOT the pentatonic... their ears. People like you only know what you learn in a video or a book. You stick to things like scales and licks. You couldn't learn a thing without watching a video. Try using your ears. And you're an idiot if you think that there is some imaginary generational divide in musicianship. Good musicians arise at almost any time in history. Besides, there are few players today worth listening to that inspire this level of performance; and I wouldn't limit my listening to rock players... that basic. With a few exceptions, there aren't a lot a great musicians tody. You've probably never even heard of people like Jesus Molina, Joey Alexander, or Matteo Mancuso, who are tearing it up, while still keeping the past alive. And besides my dude, I was commenting on this man's use of the IIC+ and the tone he's getting, not his playing style. And since I don't follow his playing, I don't know what this man can or can't do. But I don't have a damaged ego like yours so I'm not on a mission to make him feel bad so I can feel good. If you have your noobie nose up his behind, maybe you do to ride is D. But you should find a life. Relax. Work on your playing. Stop trying to troll someone because you feel bad about yourself.

man, every vid of the axe fx 3 sounds amazing! just dont want to sink more money into digital and be let down. i really want a mesa boogie mark 5 but i dont want the extreme volumes.

what do you mean by extreme volumes? The mark V actually sound pretty good at moderate output volume 🙂

I tried all. The Fractal is the one that I didn’t immediately hate, rather I smiled, but you have to want it, too. I have come to find no matter how good it sounds and feels I still just want a simple amp so I can *just play.*

Fantastic sounding, exactly the kind of playing I do, and exactly the kind of guitar I go for, well, ok, mine is sort of an Ibanez version (JCRG-3VV), but what a great demo, thanks so much. I didn't realize this was killerburst guitars, I've been seeing your limited Ibanez guitar spot runs for a few years, wish I would have know about you guys and got in on them. Maybe I'll be able to get in on the next Ibanez limited run you guys do...hint, reissue the JCRG-3 😁only with the RGA body, ebony board, and SS frets👌

I would have liked to see a decibel meter at the same time you switch back and forth. I wonder if there was a way you could see how much voltage was coming out of the preamps and hitting the power amp. I know for a fact If I turn up the preamp it really changes the character of the tube power section and gives it more oomph in volume.
@NO-TALK-GuitarPlugin5 жыл бұрын
It’s incredible how scene one sound less fizzy and more fat.
@torchlord115 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty positive that analog preamps just have way more bandwidth than digital stuff and that is why and when I say bandwidth I mean you get more bass without sacrificing the brightness and chime. Just look at old preamps. Some of them can still sound good ran into a tube amp and cab. I just saw that Rocktron just reintroduced the Voodoo Valve, and is calling it LTD. It looks like the only thing they changed is the color, which is red.

@gitarman6663 жыл бұрын
@@danyeo do you or have you owned many tube amps? @ 59 years old I have collected quite a few also solid state and hybrids, there is a obvious tube “Analog” vibe that modelers like fractal try to emulate and then there is the digital realm, The best of the digital modelers are getting pretty close to tube sound, feel, compression punch and sweet saturation But they’re not there yet so in this case comparing a real boogie to an emulation to most players experienced ears it will be quite obvious They do seem closer when recorded or broadcasted using digital interfaces, Daws and obviously the monitoring using Digital iPhones, iPads laptops But if you were in the room or playing live it’s night and day at least to my ears That’s “Vibe” brother

Amps FTW. They feel and sound between to me. I’m just not into a bunch of effects except distortion, overdrive and fuzz pedals. Ted Stevenson guitar? Very nice and great playing. Unless for studio use, or those that record or gig than different story but I’m a home guitarist. I don’t gig or record and there’s no way my processors sound or feel like a Friedman smallbox limited. It took forever to get and it wins every time.

Absolutely, I totally get the point and hear the difference , the boogie sounds epic , and to be honest you can hear the modeling in the fractal, but you cant add stereo chorus and delay to the boogie on the fly either . so is really a personal thing with whatever a bro needs and what not .,,,and budget ,,, Oh and bad ass playing by the way , you fkg rock bro , don't let nobody tell you different ,,, yo , im on the fence , which one would you choose if you was a regular guy like me , who just records his own shit at home ? ……...and money tight
