I have ISA account and there is no option to select fractional shares.

Hello, I have Fractional trading ENABLED and also trading in UK, where I want to buy CSPX. But when I want to click Cost impact, it says "Failed to display document: Invalid Quantity. This account does not support cash quantity orders that will result in less than one share. Please either activate Fractional Quantity in Client Portal or increase order size." When I try to buy, it does nothing.

I had this video on loop to follow it step by step. I had already obtained permission for fractional share trading. However, both cash and share orders were rejected stating I did not have enough in my account and with a notification stating I should have a few thousand in my account. Isn't the point of fractional trading that a client can buy a small amount according to their balance?

A margin account must have a balance of 2,000 USD (or equivalent). www.ibkr.com/faq?id=28220787 If the issue is something else, please describe it in more detail. For instance, you could include the exact wording of the error message you are receiving.

Have you sorted this out? I also encounted this problem but as I communicated with IBKR client service, "FRACTIONAL share orders are held on IBKR's server until marketable". So if you set the price far away from the current market price, the order will be in "pre-submitted or pending status" until marketable..

My question is , does this has to be turned on for dividend to buy a fractional shares....because my IBKR account doesn't show fractional shares, and it should since i have dividends coming every week
