Sounds like it’s a more signature take on code. More versatile all season wear. Kinda safe. My fav is Profumo and then absolu. The edp is nice but absolu and particularly profumo are standouts!

Huge fan of the 'Code' line, have got Colonia which for me was always the freshie of them all, but I'm looking forwsrd to trying this and I'm kind of glad that the 'Code' DNA isn't as prominent as the others

I wasn't crazy about this one but it really grew on me. I thought it didn't perform well but I realized that's not the case pretty fast. I thought it was too simple, but then I grew to appreciate it even more than the other flankers.

I'm looking forward to trying this I've been a bit hit and miss with the code line which probably makes me the odd one out because i know a lot of people love it, I liked the original years ago but i didn't like profumo i found too much in the opening and although it dried down a bit nicer it was very strong and a bit sickly for me, Absolu on the other hand i thought was a gorgeous scent and still is, colonia was nice and fresh and different i thought it was ok but nothing near the lovely absolu, I've not tried any other codes but if this one goes in its own different direction and it's a parfum and fresher i might give it a try, I really like when brands do something totally different unexpectedly a bit like gucci did with guilty absolute and cologne both miles away from the entire guilty line it's daring and original to try that and for me it's admirable even if the masses don't really like it the same

I was sent this a few months ago. It lasts a long time but it sits close to you. Oris is buttery clean more than lipstick powdery. I do keep going back to it but I still not sure if I love it or not. I do like it for like a work scent but I don't think of it as "code dna" flanker

I think this parfum version is meant to be reserved / mature, whereas the others are less serious. This works for me! 10 & backup bottle worthy for me! I’m glad I own the entire lineup. They each have a time & place to be worn. Cheers mate! 🇦🇺

Got mine last Sunday and I have almost same take as you. I think people look for more of the same against other flankers. I think the dna is there but it is most certainly mature and reserved like you said. Great pickup for me.

I have a little bit left of a bottle from early on in code’s release and the new parfum seems identical to me. Very much the same scent and lifespan. Not sure if the newer edt bottles are weaker than the original, but I always got great performance out of code

Im leaving this one out got the edp, got the OG thankfully my bottle is about 9 yrs old so its before they messed with it but Absolu is definitely being discontinued as in Aust you can only buy the smaller bottles and the price has been jacked up thankfully I found a Pharmacy that had the 110ml bottle from another state so Im picking that one up on Wed. Perfumo not sure but again id say will be going, as they will have thr edt, edp and the Parfum all in them new bottles.

Found a big bottle of Absolu gold in a rack store for a decent price. Other reviewers have said it has an iris note added to absolu. Sounds like they did roughly the same to the orifinal Code DNA.

There is no iris note in absolu, plus its being discontinued so they didnt just mske a batch with Iris.

Somehow thru this website I occasionally get shit to review and I get it free. Lot of quality stuff and I was pleasantly surprised to see Armani Code Parfum was sent to me and not just a tiny sample, but about 10ml little bottle to get several heavy quality wears. I definitely agree it's got that special DNA that makes it "Code". It's definitely a Parfum and you definitely know it. I highly suggest this if you have the others and you like Code but dont get this in addition to the original cause it's close. I'm a fan of the Code so it's good.

New Parfum is absolutely GORGEOUS. I'm sampling lots of fragrances at the moment and some of the big name parfums/elixirs are absolutely disgusting: Tom Ford Noir Extreme (lipstick+cigarettes, very oppressive and even caused me to have a rash), Boss Bottled Elixir (YUCK! burning pine cones and burnt wood with something that sticks in your throat NOT pleasant), and today I've tried Dior Homme Parfum (lipstick smell like an old lady handbag, nowhere near as bad as the Tom Ford, much smoother, almost likeable in places). But for me, I spray Armani Code Parfum on the other arm and it's just miles better than all of those. It has the freshness of the EDT and is more complex and longer lasting than the EDP. It's actually so good I think it's my favorite new scent and makes the others in the line redundant in my opinion. It's also very masculine and my wife loves it, the others are basically old lady, lipstick handbag smells. 10/10

The original edt was fairly weak for me. The scent was nice but did not perform. Ultimate was perfect and by far the best flanker ever since. I have profumo and absolute but those are average. The price for this new flanker is over the top.

Original Black Code in december 2004 was great, dark and brooding for the late night ,, then they reformulated numerous times, the rest Codes are too sweet and juvenile.

I so want to love this release but I just cannot justify the price we’re paying. I purchased a 50ML and the scent profile is definitely ‘Code’ - But, it’s supposed to be ‘Parfum’ - I have to overspray and longevity is lacking! It pains me to say it but I prefer the EDP over this.

And I did just 4 sprays in the early morning(think around 7:30) This stuff has a great performance, man!!!
