Hi Abby! My Friday fragrance is something i actually bought today while in NYC! It’s Rose Cherie from Guerlain! Guerlain is promoting both Rose Cherie and Santal Pao Rosa for the Fall Season 😊. I decided to buy Rose Cherie because it does indeed seem like a perfect transition fragrance from summer into autumn. It opens with a fresh, sweet note of Rose with a dry down of warm gourmand notes of Almond pastilles. I’m looking forward to wearing this over the next few months! I understand that Guerlain is introducing 3 new fragrances for the upcoming holiday season!! Also, i was given a sample of Ouillet Pourpre to consider wearing now. It has a gorgeous soft sandalwood feel, also by Guerlain! Excited to give it a try! Xoxo 😘 Deborah

Hi Deborah. I just wanted to give some feedback that my Guerlain SA told me that she did a training with Guerlain in Paris when the L'Art et Matieres collection launched in the new packaging. The perfumer for Santal Pao Rosa and Rose Cherie told the SAs that she designed the two fragrances to be layered together. Of course, they are beautiful individually. I tried both alone and then layered. The layering creates a very special combo so I bought a bottle of each and I am very happy with the perfumes. It was an expensive purchase, but it was worth it for me.

@@AbbyBlissWhite Hi Abby! I’m still in NYC and just texted my SA and asked him to please make me a sample so I can try it! I do love the Santal Pao Rosa but find it may be too intense in warm weather or for daily use at the moment. But I’m thinking I can use the Rose Cherie early day and then add the Santal into the evening! Or as they days get cooler just combine them both lightly all day. Santal can always be used heavier at night 😜👍. So much fun 🤩

Great reviews! I actually haven't even heard of most of these, so I will go off to look for samples! Blanche Bete and Liwa sounded up my alley for newness! After a couple disastrously expensive blind-buys (yes, I am looking at BR540 🤨) I've learned to be careful about what works on my skin! 😊 Blanche Bete sounds almost like a unicorn with those notes! 🦄 So exite! 🥰 Thanks for this Abby, have a great weekend! xo

Santal Complet - for creamy sandalwood- easy wear! Siberian Rose does not get enough love! Love it! Oud Orange Intense- fantastic gourmand!!! I love Thameen. I have Peregrina, Riviere (perfume and hair mist), and Royal Sapphire. I find the fragrances to be very long lasting. When I have purchased in the past, I received samples--so I have tried most of the brand. In my opinion, Thameens seem best for fall/winter. By the way, I tried the new Blue Heart which is heavily hyped, but I didn't love it on me. However, I got multiple compliments when I wore it. I gave the rest of the 2ml sample to my Mom and she now wants to purchase Blue Heart. I think it is mass appealing.

Yes! I smelled all of these while in London and loved Riviere and Royal Sapphire too! I thought Blue Heart was a bit masculine on me- but the one I almost bought was Royal Sapphire. I bought Peregrina in the red bottle for my friend and then did not want to give it away because I love that scent! LOL!! It is a great brand and yes- I look forward to wearing these when the weather cools down. xoxo

Today I am wearing a new fragrance that I ordered from NY. It is called Les Liquides Flirt. It is a really nice fruity fresh scent ideal for summer, but has 27% concentration so it lasts really well. They have three other scents, including one called Elle which is a woody fig fragrance (amazing).

Hi Abby. I picked up Blanche Bete a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. I think it is a safe blind buy but it's fairly expensive. Josie was so nice to send it to you. The one thing I don't love is that the glass has kind of a plasticy feel to me. I actually thought it was plastic. Also, I almost forgot to day that I heard Blanche Bete won an award for #1 fragrance of the year in a prestigious competition. So that made me feel confident blind buying when the only review I could find was from Jus de Rose.

It's interesting that most people find Gris Charnel warm - somehow on my skin it turns quite cool and fresh. Well, that's at least how I smell it. I do enjoy it, it's one of my go-to fall fragrances.

Cavort is lovely. I remember when you did a video on Secret Tryst. I copied you and bought it. Then I felt the temptation to add Cavort to cart. I love both scents One thing that bugs me is that many reviewers, plus FDB, say that Cavort is a summer scent. To me, this is not a summer scent at all. Maybe it works for night, but I won't pick it back up until the weather drops below 15 degrees Celsius. I see that you share the same opinion.

I don’t think I ever mentioned Molton Brown Milk Musk EDP to you. It screams fall in Portland to me. It’s like a cashmere hug on a cool autumn day. It’s lactonic with elemi, Tonka, vanilla, and musk. A simple scent but so comforting that I think I wore that more than lots of my more expensive niche fragrances the last couple of winters. I spray it on before bed too for a cozy hug in the cooler months. It says Abby in Portland to me. If you try it be sure it’s the edp. The edt is different and has fruit notes in it. LuckyScent now carries it, ZGO might also.

Good morning pretty lady and my soul sister! Have you tried Ellis Brooklyn brand? They have been coming out with new launches. They are “clean” fragrances but in high quality and budget friendly. Great for people who are allergy prone like myself on occasions. They just came out with a new beauty called Vanilla Milk. Worth checking out. I also love Molton Brown line too. I want to dip my toes in the Boucheron fragrances. I’m definitely checking out Zgo fragrance. They sell samples which is perfect!

Abby do you like Iris Ebene as much as Ex Nihilo Iris Porcelina? Or is it too different to compare?

These are very different scents in my opinion. I love Iris Porcelina - but it is more light and airy versus the Iris Ebene is deeper and denser with that suede note. It feels more cozy. Like Iris Porcelina feels more linen y - cotton y - and Iris Ebene feels more like cashmere or velvet. Does that make sense? hope this helps. xoxo
