I believe it's a real thing because sometimes when you first spray a fragrance when you first get the bottle you're like, why doesn't it last or why doesn't it smell the way it smells like in the store? And I have learned when all that it sit it gets even better and I love it, especially the more times I spray it

Very informative. I got a july 2023 batch of CDNIM EDT. its a bit weak. The seller told me to macerate it. 😅 i hope it turns out goof

I bought a limited edition 06/2023 batch and when i compared too old 10/22 batch (last sprays) thats why i bought new one. Its not the same projection, in new is so weak.

I’ve heard about some reformulation issues here recently. One way to test if it’s just your nose or not is to spray a paper towel maybe twice, and then lay it in any area of the house where nobody will bother it. Come back to it throughout the day and night to see if it fills the room up or if it is detectable on the paper towel. I usually let them sit out for 2 days

Using a fragrance during the maceration period will affect/stop the maceration?

Currently macerating a Dior Sauvage EDT for that punch and Maison Alhambra's Yeah!. Ive always believed maceration was real because since the get go, i had a 2022 batch of Eros vs my 2018 batch, night and day, they got very similar until the third month of maceration but even then the older one was better.

I have creed aventus new F-387 batch I purchased from dillards. When I first got it, I sprayed it 8 times, then let it sit in a dark cool place for 2 months….yet the performance is still terrible. It’s a skin scent within 4 hours 😩

I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about the new batches so I’m shocked to hear this. Have you tested this on a paper towel or a clean shirt to see if you could still detect the fragrance after a day or so? And is there a chance you are going anosmic to it?

@@kingscents5899 I sprayed it on my shirt, and I can smell it the next day…but it’s very faint. I have to dig my nose in my shirt just to smell it. Not sure if I’m going nose blind, because I have a 19 batch, and I can smell it just fine

Great question! It won’t hurt it at all and will actually do more helping than hurting, so it’s definitely okay to use it here and there.

I mean creed aventus is a prime example. I have 2 order preform bottles and the juice is yellow. Its had plenty of time to mancerate and its alot stronger

Great question! After I start the maceration process after applying the fragrance a couple times, I usually leave the caps on.
