I thought that the Illicit Green smelled yummy. I imagined some kind of flavored chocolate or flavored cappucino. I didn't test it on my skin, so hard to tell if it would work for me. Like you said it is so individual. Additionaly it depends on outside temps and weather. I am testing good girl now, and at morning it was very pleasant, because it was colder at morning, now it got hotter, and I am sure that I could only use it in fall, winter, and colder spring days. That could be a reason that you don't like it in PR, because it is too hot for some perfumes and they become too cloying and overwhelming.

Are you planning on grabbing any new Daisy fragrances from Marc Jacobs? I love the shade they used for the bottles. Saw a review saying the Daisy Love Paradise was creamy & the patchouli isn’t heavy so I’m thinking about that one.

I recently bought VGG Glam… and found it to be too similar to the VGG… although I prefer the look of the Glam bottle. (The tester was empty… so I couldn’t sniff and compare it, before purchase. I ended up returning it.) While in store, I got a chance to sniff the Gold Fantasy, on a paper strip. To me, it smelled “too similar” to the OG… to purchase a large bottle. (Ulta only had the 3oz bottle gift set. .. and I didn’t see it at Sephora, Macy’s or Nordstrom. I own a large collection of fragrances and only buy anything bigger than 1 - 1.7 oz if I really really love it… or it’s something thats discontinued or seriously discounted. I also prefer the cap on the 1oz GG collection bottles over the “open” sprayer of the 1.7+ oz bottles.)

There are not just a gazillion flankers of Good Girl, but also a dozen+ dupes. Honestly, some of those dupes are actually better than the real deal imho - which actually happens a lot when the Arabic perfume houses start mixing :) - and you save so much money you can buy other stuff.

I love Billie Eilish number 1. I actually got rid of it the first time and then re-bought it a month later. I love it now .. number 2 is a bit of a challenge. They are like polar opposites. It is not sweet. leans more masculine. It reminds me of a Middle Eastern fragrance, and does not project quite as much as number 1.. not a safe blind buy for a fact. Smells kind of oud-ish. But there are no Oud notes. If you like, not sweet Middle Eastern fragrances, you might like it. Don’t really know what I’m going to do with it yet.

Two words: skin chemistry & skin type. Both influence projection and longevity. The drier your skin, the shorter a perfume lasts. But even if you have super oily skin, your chemistry (the PH specifically) is even more important. Usually more acidic skins have trouble keeping fragrances. Case in point: my skin is dry and really acidic as a result of medical treatments. That's what leads to the so-called "perfume eating skin". I can rarely enjoy perfumes for longer than 3 hours, some even disappear in 30min. I can count the amount of fragrances that last 5+hrs on one hand and my collection exceeds 110 bottles. Tip: If you read/ listen to reviews always try to find out what type of skin said reviewers have so you can compare to yours and know if the projection/longevity will be to your taste. Opinions, whether based on experience or not, are never fact when it comes to fragrances. Tip 2: Overspraying sadly rarely adds to longevity. Usually only - temporarily - to projection and sillage, but I've never known perfumes to last longer when you use extra (as a forced oversprayer I speak from experience, but I've read it elsewhere). So, save your sprays. Layering with the same or similar bodylotions/mists/showergels càn help.
