Paused at 4:22 because WORD! I hear you. I feel you. Everything you’re saying is exactly how I wish fragrance KZbin/TikTok etc is… I wish people spoke more on the dangers of this hobby, or at least disclaimed it because fragrance collecting is an expensive hobby with equally expensive repercussions. I see so many videos encouraging people to blind buy, which blows my mind. Anyway I’m talking too much, my point is that it’s OK to enjoy fragrance, filming for this hobby etc with an awareness of the impact it may have. Sorry, I just got carried away! So glad you’re back my beautiful!

Hey Prissy, You are so right, this hobby we’ve chosen can get quite expensive especially with the speed these new fragrances are being produced. It’s definitely important to remain true to who you are. Otherwise, you’ll get stuck on the wheel of keeping up with what’s trending instead of what you actually love and want to wear.

Oooo girl -- this spoke to me. As someone who also makes content around perfume, I've been kinda struggling with needing it to have purpose. But like you said, it's a hobby! It's a girly indulgence! And that is purposeful right there. If it's making you feel good and others feel good, it has purpose. X

Hey Prissy. Good to see you, you look gorgeous. I have been thinking about fragrance community, about fragrance generally and consumerism. I know there is so much out there. Yet, to me, fragrance is deeply personal? I feel like I have some kind of bond with the 'favourite ' fragrances in my collection and once they're favourites I don't tend to stop buying them? Many of the fragrances I now wear aren't considered popular, or main stream. That's okay. I'm not wearing them for anyone else, other than myself. Perfume is almost like a good friend? The intimacy, the reliability! And how many good friends in life do we truly have? Could we get to know over 200 ? Or even 25, over time on a level that was of quality. Probably not . So I'm loyal to the ones that I come back to over and over again. Some, I didn't like that much at first? Yet we grew together 😂!. Fragrance is such an intimate part of us , of life? Yet we seem to always be chasing the next best thing, worried we are missing out, not appreciating or getting to know what we truly love, which can only happen when we have had that long standing relationship with it!. I'm so over the endless buying. I'm loyal to what I know and love. That brings me peace and joy, to continue to value and enjoy the die hard fragrances in my collection. I don't want to smell like everyone else, or have crowd pleasing fragrances that get me 5 compliments a day. What's important is how a fragrance makes me feel only. I doubt what I now wear would get many compliments, and that's perfectly fine. ❤

Great video! I love perfume and stuff but I do limit what I buy because it’s too expensive. It’s still fun to watch and see what other people enjoy but I don’t buy that much anymore. Anyway I’m happy to see you and I wish you amazing months and very much happiness to come ❤.
