By the fireside is definitely a polarizing scent! I personally love it but she’s smoky! Like real smoky. You gotta wear her, at night, in the middle of winter. You can’t have no Florida winter. It damn near needs to be snowing for you to wear by the fireside😂 but once she settles is, she’s really lovely! She still smoky but not that initial heavy scent. And don’t put too much on because you will smell like a fire pit 😂

Same lmao I never get sweetness/vanilla from by the fireplace! It smells like just smoke throughout, like a burning wood house. BUT Jazz club, I loveeee. It’s actually sweet, but not too much, woody with a smokiness! I have a full bottle of Santal Complet, and I never thought about the similarity but they do have the same kind of sweetness. Santal Complet is not smoky though..it’s creamier and completely smooth. But there’s a huge price difference. Santal Complet is better quality and signature for all seasons so I think it’s worth it, while Jazz club is better for just fall/winter. They both aren’t beast fragrances, which is not necessary all the time lol, but they last. I still smell a bubble of goodness around me for my whole work day.

I had a similar experience with Burberry Her. I received a bottle as a gift. While it smelled wonderful from the bottle itself, on my skin was another story. The dry down was just horrid. I sadly had to return it back to Sephora, and exchanged it for something else.

Sis! So I am at work.( I work for Sephora part time) I sprayed by the fireplace by replica and coffee break. YOU ARE SPOT ON WITH COFFEE BREAK I will be buying a bottle but fireplace……… the smoke don’t go away and by they time it does you can BARELY smell the fragrance. I also wore jazz club and I will be getting that too

Bubble bath did nothing for me at all. I was so disappointed. Ughh. I want to get the replica sample set so I can try the rest of the scents. Beach walk is my absolutely favorite. It is everything. Have you been into the coach scents? I am trying those now. I also tried Oscar de la Renta bella blanca today and I loved it. I have such a wide range when it comes to scents but spicy tends to be my favorite

Denise you had me hollering with laughter. I had a trial size of bubble bath. It had a soapy scent but it wasn't for me. But when you got to Fireplace, not going to even try that one. Love the video

Glad you enjoyed it! Yea Bubble Bath wasn’t for me either. Not the type of clean soapy scent I was looking for. If you love girly scents By The Fireplace definitely wouldn’t be one you’d enjoy.

To me, Santal Complet is sweeter and more tropical. They are verryyy similar but Jazz Club with the rum note is so sexy! LaBelle for me was a no as well!👎🏼

I can't find anyone who doesn't like Burberry Her aside from myself. Hate it..lol By the Fireplace is horrible and I don't understand wanting to smell like literal smoke! Yup, Bubble Bath hyped, why? Lmao at "Taking a bath in halitosis" Lol I can't just wear stuff bc ppl hype it. Maybe all these smell better on others. 🤷🏾‍♀️

That’s exactly how I felt. But I did say in this video I was going to visit it and wait for the dry down like everybody said. Well I did that and ended up buying it LOL! The smokiness does die down and the vanilla comes out more. But I will say it’s still a hella smoky fragrance.

@Denise.Adore yeah that good to know but I know for me that's a fragrance that I wouldn't love, so I wouldn't buy it. My personal flavor isn't smoky at all!! And I'm trying to only purchase fragrance that I absolutely love bc I don't want to end up just having a bunch of blah bottles of perfume!! Ps. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANEL YOURE SO BOMB!!!
