Bought Dunhill Icon Absolute for a friend and myself for Christmas off the back of your repeated recommendations. Wow, what an opening! My friend said it reminded him of Oud Wood, but more 'gentlemanly' which then faded to something reminiscent of Burberry Brit. Having never smelt BB I can't comment, but for the price these days, you simply cannot knock it, so thank you! Could I recommend a fragrance for you? A perfumer getting a lot of attention from other youtube fragrance reviewers is Aaron Terence Hughes. I bought Oxytocin and it is possibly my favourite fragrance in my collection, rivalling my Tom Ford Noir. If you have the time, I would definitely recommend checking him out as his tastes really line up with yours. All the best for 2021.

I haven't tried any of these but look forward to doing so. A favour if I may.......One of my new favourite finds and a departure from the lighter fragrances I've always enjoyed, (maybe because I'm now 41) is Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo signature and I was wondering if you could recommend something in the same vein but by Tom Ford or the like for a premium scent. I started the year using Versace Eros. In the winter I got onto using Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Then I tried Mont Blanc Explorer because it was very cheap but didn't quite like it at first (not my thing)... went to Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Moss which I loooove the smell of, still love it especially suited my vacation but have to spray so much regularly because its fairly weak... have now turned around to using Mont Blanc Explorer, it grew on me and a couple of people have complimented it

Dude!! I just used my heavy duty beard balm as hair product because I’m traveling and forgot my American Crew Fiber. My hair looks and feels amazing! Held up in the wind outside too! Used some strong hold hairspray as well for extra hold, but I am shocked!

I LOOOVE Dunhill Icon Absolute. The first seconds are a nightmare come true, because of the smell of rotten wood, but it soon fades and enters a celestian (golden, not cerulean skies 😜) smoky, woody treasure.

For anyone watching this now, you can get Dunhill Icon (not Absolute Gold) at a deep discount from Notino, which is legit. I bought my second, larger bottle from there recently as I love the scent, and the 100ml bottle from Notino was £31.90, reduced from £84.50! It must have been about £10 cheaper than I paid for my 50ml bottle from somewhere else earlier in the year. If you look on Fragrantica, Icon is more favourably rated than the other versions, including Absolute, so don't be too caught up in trying the exact same thing as Robin. He's right in saying that you get a really warm feeling from it, it's quite intoxicating in a good way. I'm not linked to Notino, I just feel that if I can help anyone out for as long as that sale is on I should.

Good question! I always thought Dunhill Icon (silver) was lighter and fresher. The Absolute (gold) is darker and sexier.

Off-topic but I have a question about my hair. I have very fine hair just like you and I want to get a hair cut where the parting is in between the middle and the side but keeping a bit of volume on each side and kinda getting the hair slicked back but still going to the side. I tried the haircut but my scalp gets a bit visible at the parting. Do you know if there is a solution to this. Thanks for making those videos on fine hair, they make me more confident.

Molten brown russian leather I got it in last month, and its good it keeps a balance between the smell of my car and my body and I like the leather too😂😂 The tom ford is also a high status fragrance
