Remember, houses don't always list of all the notes (makes it more difficult to dupe). Like Juicy Couture Glistening Amber most definitely has Ambroxan in it, but it's not listed. I'd bet my life on it. So whatever that salt note is you smelled in Dior HP, it's probably just not listed. Love this video.💙

I smell rose and vanilla in velvet vanilla. I agree that it smells like cupcakes or something. Lol. The tuberose causes that bubble gum smell. Love it. I smell rootbeer in Hypnotic Poison. I used to smell play dough but not anymore. I focused my nose and realized it's just vanilla. Lol

I tried so hard to love Twilly. I can't smell anything besides Irish Spring bar soap blended with some fresh squeezed lemon. It's masculine to me in way I don't do. I love waem masculine scents, not clean masculine (on me personally).

@@vallivon if it smelled like Dove Original Deodorant, I'd be all over it. If you are my age (35+), do you remember how damn guuuuuuutttttttt Pantene Pro-V smelled?! I can still remember exactly how it used to smell. Everyone knew you used it, cause the scent stayed forever. Wish they'd make shampoo scent stay like that again. One can dream.

That's how L'imperatrice is to me, it says watermelon is in it and the only things I smell is grapefruit and honey. When I spray it all my kids say I smell like grapefruit. I find that most scents that have orchid smell like root beer, like Orchid Soliel by Tom Ford, even Black Orchid has a little root beer not in the beginning.

I find that Hypnotic Poison EDT works better when you apply more and it's gotta be the right temperature. If you apply too little and it's really cold....play doh! I think it works best in the Spring.

Ive had Velvet Vanilla for over a year. I have never heard anyone describe this other than a Clear Bubblegum Tuberose. I have never smelled cake that smells like a white flower.

Lol you killed me, velvet vanilla smells "like tooth rotting " you are so right most mancera smells horrible it had me wondering does the perfume reviewers get kick back or freebie from colonge companies.

A lot of influencers get free products and I wouldn't doubt that some are actually on the payroll of these niche brands. I've heard a lot of folks on various fragrance sites say that Mancera/Montale fragrances are not as good as they are hyped to be and that there is an overwhelming chemical base to most of them.

No! Wait a week or so, and shower with a vanilla scented shower gel. Use an unscented moisturizer, and get dressed. After you apply your makeup and do your hair, spray your Orchidee Vanille. It will NOT smell like root beer. It will smell soft and match it’s name. I always enjoy you Vallivon!

Cliniques Happy is another one that has an odd smell in it. I never noticed, until I read the comments on Fragrantica. It smells like balloons! Once I read that....yup, I smell it! And yes, I smell pickles in Thank You Next.

Armani code profumo starts out smelling like root beer! at least it give you that vibe. But its really about the dry down. Sometimes you gotta wait 1-2 hours into the dry down to get what the fragrance really smells like.
