Just wanted to tell you that I got Guerlain Gourmand Coquin. I emailed them & they placed me on wait list & it shipped 8 days later. It arrived in 11 days. Oh! You were so right. The scent is amazing ❤❤❤ & although it's not beast sillage it has great longevity and also a compliment getter. The best part is that it ignites memories of going to Hershey Pennsylvania as a kid. The air there smelled like soft cocoa powder. All before their factory closed of course. Thank you for your recommendations and faultless descriptions!

Just got the wedding santal perfume and it smells exactly like vanilla 28… :/ maybe with a peach accord at first spray but then goes right into vanilla 28. Was so bummed with this launch. Smells bomb but I already own and love vanilla 28. Kinda redundant

I really don’t see a lot of people talking about L‘Orchestre Parfum, but I am a big fan of their DNA, especially Ambre Cello and Liqueur BPM. Have got a sample of van exstasty from Greta and love it! I was a bit confused at first because there’s another popular vanilla scent with the same name just spelled differently: I love that one too lol

I’ve noticed all the KZbin reviews I’ve seen said the fragrance lasts very long especially Silk but most of the customer reviews on Sephora say the lasting power is low and sillage is intimate. I would assume a person who reviews perfume is really testing and not lying about the performance but why would everyone else who wasn’t sent the bottle say the opposite? I know scents all have different strengths when applied to varying skins and temperatures but I still feel a need to point it out. I have such a problem with longevity in my collection that I don’t want it to be the most important thing to me but unfortunately it is. I really hope the ones they sent KZbinrs have macerated longer and eventually mostly everyone will experience the same quality fragrance.

What I can say is that I have always been and will continue to be candid with my reviews! The trust I have with you all is far more important to me than PR or sponsorships, and I've lost opportunities because of not loving scents, but that's fine, because those come and go. Looking at the PR reviews I've done, you can see I'm not shy to say I'm not a fan of something. And even in this video, I mentioned that I experience an intimate sillage when it comes to Velvet Santal 35. I own several Kayali fragrances and they do continue to get better in performance with time. One factor to consider is that many people purchasing a perfume, as a regular consumer instead of a perfume enthusiast, don't know how to make their fragrance last, and spray a fragrance about twice which isn't going to do anything unless it's a beast mode scent. People more heavily into fragrance, such as content creators, know the tips, involving using more than two sprays, spraying on moisturized skin, spraying clothes, etc. So that can be one factor on differing reviews on Sephora. I can only speak to my own experience when it comes to reviewing scents, but I always recommend sampling first for yourself to see if the performance is what you're looking for!

Thank you! I think it's very versatile! Because of its bright, uplifting character and fruity/floral notes it works in warmer weather, but because of the sweet addictive vanilla, sugar, and praline, it would be beautiful in the colder months as well!

I have and I agree! To me it actually smells similar to Milky Musk 39 but with a rice note. Because rice as a note isn't for me, it wasn't a total fit for my tastes, but I think it's a good scent and is my favorite "rice" centered fragrance I've tried so far!

You describe fragrances so well, I love your channel. Milky Musk 39 is a year round fave for me too. I'd love to know what ON EARTH is happening with the fragrance 'Messy S*** Just Rolled Out of Bed' by A Lab on Fire. It's not listed as discontinued, just 'out of stock' on every website on the planet with no information considerately offered to loyal customers by the brand either, which is shameful. Do you, or does anybody at all, know why it's been out of stock for years?! The other thing I wanted to mention is this: husbands and boyfriends reviewing their partner's fragrances REALLY deserves a dedicated website. My husband's short and brutally honest verdicts are not short of colour and always put MY rambling fervently eulogistic odes (aka: my adjective salad-reviews) to shame. I wore 'Nejma 5' today as I wanted to use up a sample rather than waste it by tossing it out and he sniffed my forearm and offered this succinct review: "Nejma 5? That sounds like a prison camp somewhere in the Ural mountains". Oh I give up. I'm seething with envy. I can't hold a candle to that sort of merciless, economic use of language. I love hearing other people's stories about how their partners review their fragrances. 😆🥇👍

Oh I've smelled Minnie on a test strip, it was so girly and fun! In my opinion I don't find Tribeca & Whispers of Truth similar at all even though they have a couple shared notes, WoT is citrusy, more floral, and bright, where Tribeca is super warm, nutty, and suited for fall/winter

My order was shipped a week after I made my purchase, but it was delivered a day after I got the shipment confirmation :) That's weird about the shipping though, I would just email their customer service for help on that
