This is ridiculous. Almost never worth it to stock up. Just do the math, 100 ml/ 3.4 oz will last almost a year when applied daily. Better to buy different scents and be able to change it up once in a while.

"Stock up" usually just means to buy 1 more bottle of a particular fragrance for most people. This is often called a "backup bottle" and isn't that ridiculous.

@AlejandroParedesBobadilla I'm simply saying that if you have a partial bottle of a fragrance, and you are being told that it may be discontinued, it's not ridiculous to buy another bottle. This is how most people treat this type of video. There are always extremes, and typically, a KZbinr will most likely be extreme because this is what they do for a living. Also, fragrance addiction does exist.

YSL eau freche is wonderful. I also have a bottle of Gurlain cool, which is excellent as well. So glad I got them when I did.

Some are a good investment. I blind bought a 6.7oz bottle of code absolu from armani when it was clearanced for $75usd Its already worth an easy 2x what i paid for it. I dont care for it so it sits in my closet. Here in another 2 yrs or so im going to decant the whole bottle off and make some pretty good $$ off that bottle. Wish i had some PR 1 million prive because that scent is rivaling creed and PDM prices and its still selling.

When you hear rumors of latest DHI and PDM Layton getting reformulated, watered down, and not as potent as the initial release then that is not a good sign. Even worse are when clones are exceeding the performance of clones in so many ways is an indicator where this industry and hobby is going. OBTW, I have none of these on the list. It's not for wanting but they are already hard to get and very pricey for some. I'm pretty well done with getting all the ones I want.

I spent the last year stocking up. Moving forward I'm paring down my collection of over a 100 scents to 30. Hopefully. I have triple and even quadruple bottles of some. But those are special appeal. They are designers like DHP, DHI, and Eros Flame. With more discontinuations and reformulations, there will be a quality and performance apocalypse for frags in the next three years. Mark my words.
