The appearance of a turquoise bike frame in a darkened workshop kicks off a series of highly stylized vignettes where, bolt-by-bolt, a mountain bike is born. Frame of Mind is an up-close look at the art and craft of being a bike mechanic.

This is amazing and really points out the fact that a great bike is a work of art and craft, a combination of so much thought and attention from so many creators put together with incredible care. In a very consumer-driven world, it really makes you appreciate all that goes into each part, which makes the ride down and up so much fun. The filmmaking here is also better than anything I have seen from any manufacturer, genuinely great filmmaking. Can't wait to see what else you do next!

Great video! Whts that rule for measuring and cutting the steerer tube? 5mm below first mark?

@@hillsidewoods I do 3mm so that you can use it with a 5mm spacer if you want to. Gives a nice low profile look, and makes it so you don’t have to put the top cap right on the stem, but you also don’t have a huge spacer above the stem. If you did 5mm you would probably have to use a 10mm spacer.
