France and Indonesia Traditional Music Collaboration Performance

Universitas Tanjungpura welcomes distinguished guests from Universite de Poitiers, France. This visit aims to collaborate in the arts, particularly in the field of traditional music. Students from both universities are preparing to present an international musical collaboration.
"We hope this collaboration will inspire more partnerships in the future," said R.M. Rustamaji, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems.
This partnership involves students from the Performing Arts Education Program at Faculty of Teacher Training & Education Untan, who will blend traditional Indonesian and French music.
The music performance is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Theater Room 1, Untan Conference Hall. This event not only showcases the beauty of music but also strengthens Untan’s ties with universities in France in the field of arts. Through this initiative, Untan continues to expand its international network and introduce Indonesian art to the world.
