However, the 🇺🇸🇬🇧 US-UK deal offered 8 submarines for $90 billion, but the 8 submarines were nuclear-powered, had unlimited range (because of the nuclear propulsion), capable of launching cruise missiles (which is good since Australia has plans to pursue nuclear-weapons in the future) and the submarines would be built in 🇦🇺 Australia, with American & British designs and technology. It's just good business.
