@@josefpoukine There is no excuse. But a similar situation happened at Worlds last year when France played a long and tiresome game against Japan in the quarter finals. France pushed Italy to 5 sets in the semis, but ran out of gas. Japan is great at tiring out teams.

France has won 2 consecutive Olympics in volleyball, beating Russia in 2021. There are only world-class players on the team. In handball, it's funny but the referees helped us so much that we went out in the 8th round at home while we had been on 4 consecutive finals since 2008 including 3 victories ! France is the best nation in the world in team sports, whether they play at home or not. The victories were more numerous outside France so you missed the opportunity to keep quiet !
