The Danish PM is on a tour to all of European and NATO partners, having personal meetings with Presidents and other PM's, and so far getting full support, and according to the French Foreign Minister they discussed a French offer of troop deployment on Greenland, if Denmark wish so. but the Danish PM plan to form a huge coalition to counter Trump and preparing for the worst, while I guess Trump is playing golf and having no clue about any of this. He is no doubt in for a huge surprise, and will discover that attacking European allies and NATO partners is not the same as threatening or invading 3rd world countries and dictatorships in the Middle East. According to a brand new poll, then 85% reject leaving the kingdom of Denmark in favor of the USA. and only 6% are for joining, while 9% are undecided.

I've been saying the exact same thing. We may be one of the most powerful countries in the world, but even we can't take on the entirety of Europe and Canada if article 5 is declared. I foresee one of 2 scenarios. First is he attacks and we look at a war with nato, which will not end well for either organization. As they will find out standing to America isn’t the same as standing to Russia in which they barely even do out of fear of them while attempting to size up the worlds largest military force. A force which any single branch of its military is at stronger capabilities than theirs combined. It’s not something someone should want. An American that isn’t trying to police with rules of engagement as it did in the Middle East against an adversary that only attacks through guerrilla warfare. The last uniformed force we fought got annihilated in the gulf war and Europe would have the same fate. Europe has barely made any defensive budgets as they relied on America for defense through NATO so imagine the result to not only lose that defensive trip wire but to turn and attempt to face it. Lol our military budget isn’t larger than the next ten nations combined for a reason after all.

Look at their military capabilities and the outdated equipment almost all of them rely on from getting over comfortable in the knowledge no one will attack NATO nations with the American war machine at its heart. They barely even put funding into their defensive budgets and most are not meeting their NATO quotas which got America upset to begin with. The few modern ships and planes they have that pose a threat are in small quantities that would be destroyed in the first weeks to months of fighting while America has both quality and quantity.
