This. Genuine respect and decency. The exact opposite of what soccer can deliver- those boos. I mean I generally don't care about team sports- more into blades and martial arts- but Rugby, especially these recent years, is something else. No melee finishing into a pugilat when you're loosing hard or that kind of things. I'm from the very, very, SW part of France, so I guess I'm super biased on the matter, but still I love this attitude. Galtier's tears during the interview really got me. I remember thinking when England lost the WC final in 2019, what a huge, huge, huge chance had just been blown and I remember vividly thinking that that was it. And it has been. For instance, in 1999, France lost 7-54 vs All Blacks and a few months later we won vs them in...Twickenham during the WC. Don't blame Borthwick. He needs time. I was there & Bill Beaumount said that Englands Backrow & centres were poor all game & a lack of leadership at 10. Smith had a great game last week against a poor Exeter. wow that's is a dominant performance that to me, tells me that France being on home soil at the 2023 RWC have a real chance of taking it out. The All Blacks have a real battle on their hands and atm will have to jack their ideas up and a lot of work to do. The All Blacks only had a half game performance against England last time, blowing a big 1st half lead, ending in a draw. Watching this analysis and watching Clive Woodward and JW on ITV it’s so different. CW saying England are playing well and Steve is the way forward and England will build from here. 🤣🤣🤣 England are a mess and Eddie Jones wad screwed by the press it’s that simple. The English national team is a representation of the premiership and if you are objective you can see that the standard has fallen over the last few years, as an Englishman it isn't a lot of fun watching the national team unable to execute core skills at speed . The only solace I take is that there can be no doubt now that we are way off so if you know there is a problem then you can at least attempt to do something about it. The one other thing to take from the game is that if France play like that at the world cup then it will take something special to beat them whether that's Ireland, SA or NZ .

Desole mais... I think England will be a bit-part player at the RWC later this year. We are definitely on a downward trajectory at present and I see nothing changing significantly between now and the start of the tournament. If we get through the group stages, I think that is as far as we will go, to be honest.

At Club Rugby (Tigers) you go and buy you some Saffas to solve your gainline problems like Wiese & Liebenberg or Louw at tighthead. On a national level you may have limits.
