So for french football history that's the second win in World Cup, the first was in 1998 with Zidane (greatest french player ever) before '98 France was haunted by a whole history of losses. We had plenty of great players (like Juste Fontaine actual World record of goals in one World Cup) but we were stopped every time. In '98 France was the host of the World Cup, if it was not the case we wouldn't be able to participate cuz we hadn't make it through the qualifier phase (the country hostin qualify no matter what cuz it's the host). We eventually win it against one of the best team ever ending the curse upon us. I was 4 at the time so I can't remember these moments but here in France this story is now a legend. (Sorry for this i'm doing my best to speak clearly but it's probably horrible)

On another note (to make it a bit longer), YES, Mbappe is definitely the MVP for me, the golden boy of the WorldCup (Every WorldCup has a ''Golden Boy'' in my opinion, it's like always a young talented player that makes his break by being the best player on the tournament) Hugo Lloris, of course one of the best keepers no doubt about that, but also you should give my man Griezmann some credit there. My boy did his job perfectly, scored every time he had the chance - one of the most efficient strikers out there. What is interesting about this World Cup is...well it's a well deserved Championship for France, but it was really hard fought. I mean in earlier WCs there had always been one or two teams way better than the rest ( Germany in 2014 for example). This time France were only like the best, well balanced team of all (they got all the respect from me for that). But let's take the Zidane's 2006 France roster, they were STACKED, and they lost in the Final to an even greater Italy team. I mean that was one hell of a Final. Def recommend you to watch the Italy Road to WorldCup video btw. In any case cheers! Keep doing what you're doing!
