After visiting the Louvre, let's head back to modern Paris.
The Eiffel Tower is also one of Paris's landmarks. It used to be the world's tallest building and held that title for 40 years. The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 to showcase France's industrial and technological achievements.
Paris's iconic Eiffel Tower stands at 320 meters high. It was the world's first tower used for wireless communication and has been around for a century now.
The Mars Park (Champ de Mars) next to the Eiffel Tower is also a great place for a leisurely stroll. Many people sit on the grass, enjoying the view of the tower while sunbathing and picnicking. This is the French way of life!
