France pension bill: Nationwide protests continue on Thursday

French President Emmanuel Macron gave a TV interview after surviving no confidence vote.
He said that there are not a hundred ways to balance the accounts, the reform is necessary.
And he added pension changes will enter into force by the end of this year.

The national pension does not have to be balanced. It can be subsidised by wealth tax in a re-distribution scheme.

The oldest trick on the book , the " sustainability of the pension system " , wealth tax will bring enough revenues to finance the program but off course that would be against his own interests.
