We will need to see when, and whether, law enforcement identifies and publishes the name of the group which executed these coordinated attacks. Based on the modus operandi - large-scale, coordinated, impacting a highly visible target (the Olympics) - my gut suggests the perpetrator is Islamic, probably Free Palestine. Other circumstances also point to Free Palestine. The Israel/Hamas conflict is still in progress, and many disaffected Muslims live in France.
