Hello ! We’re very happy to see you again for a new vlog ! 🌞 Today we escaped a little bit from Toulouse and we’re heading to the sea, to Montpellier. We had some chill times at the sea and we went to discover one of the most beautiful villages in France : Saint Guilhem le Désert, in the Vallée de l’Hérault. 🏖️ We hope you’ll enjoy looking at those places as well as we used to when we were there. 🌟

Bonjour! Thank you for an excellent video! Montpellier looks perfect. We are looking for a moderate summer climate area, with a plaza lifestyle, and near good healthcare (my wife has MS and is a cancer survivor). We walk, and ride, so public transportation is required. I am a retired American educator. We helped a new school open in Lviv, then spent 6 weeks in Krakow; we're in Tallinn for a month before heading back to Oregon. My wife and I hope to visit France after the Olympics. We plan to sell our Portland condo and then move to France. We will rent so we can travel throughout Europe, and perhaps help Ukraine rebuild after the war ends. There are several significant advantages to living in France: climate, healthcare, culture, and infrastructure. Merci!! Dean and Cindy.

Hello ! Thank you for your kind message ! We’re really happy that you had a good time watching our vlog ! South of France is a really great place to live, there is always something to discover around ! 🤗 The only problem may be the heat that can be pretty strong during summer, like in Toulouse or Montpellier ! 😭 But those cities have pretty good public transportations ! And life is good 😌 We’re sending you love ! We really hope you’ll find the best place to live in 🤗🤗

@@ChillLittleTrips Thank you for the response! Is "the heat can be pretty strong during summer" above 30-35 Celcius?

@@DeanRamser In the middle of summer it can reach 40 degrees. I'm talking about Toulouse here. Montpellier is close to the beaches so there will be more air to compensate, unlike Toulouse where even for me the heat is sometimes unbearable. 😮‍💨

@@DeanRamser Hello, as a French from Montpellier, I can confirm that the temperatures in summer are around 40-42 Celsius, if you live in the city center, the heat is even more intense because there is no air flow at all. No cooling during the night or summer storms to cool down. Be sure to look for a rental that has air conditioning or to get out of Montpellier in summer otherwise it might be tough. It is perfect the rest of the year though.

@@jasmineb2116 Bonjour! 42 Celsius? Wow! How is Toulon? Biarritz? Normandy? We have had triple-digit heat waves in Los Angeles and Portland, but our AC worked great! Without air conditioning, my wife's MS goes berserk. Very serious. Thank you! Merci beaucoup!
