But in this "soft ass" era people get away with carries,travels and so much more bullshit. I dont like the point where basketball has come( Which is a media show not a sports for me anymore. At least the NBA). I'm only 5'9 but i loved wrestling for just one rebound and the feeling when you crossed someone so bad that they had to take a hard foul on you to cover the fact that you messed them up in front of their teammates and coach.

Nice and intense game. Refs made mistakes on both side, whining is not winning. Lithuania was close but France did the job in the 1st half. One of the best team with Serbia ( to me the favourites), USA ans Austrlia. I see Serbia World Champ this year. USA are not good enough this year.

Dude, the hell are you talking about, did you see the score when 30 seconds were left in the game? The difference was 1 point you were actually trailing at one point in the 4th quater. Who cares what point difference is after 2 quarters. So don't talk BS like that. I mean we can say: "France was close but started choking and Lithuania did the job in the 2nd half until refs ruined it by fucking up the last minute, when the ref whistled it had to be 2+1, but he changed his mind and decided he was calling the first shot, then refs boched goal tending call, which led to fast break". After seeing interviews from French coach and other French players I lost all respect for them saying BS like that or pretending to be dumb and saying they didn't see it., just pathetic, even FIBA acknowledged the mistake so don't play dumb.

And even before the goaltending it should have been 2+1 when the ref made the call on the second shot but decided that the foul was on first shot. If you think that wouldn't change anything you know nothing about basketball. And French players are pathetic, at least be a man and acknowledge that refs helped you in the crucial moment that won't change the outcome of the game. Even many French fans acknowledge this good for them this prevents everyone from BS like that happening again, but sadly French players don't care about fair play they are just glad refs helped from completely choking this game.

Australia, France and Lithuania are excellent teams and would give the USA problem anytime they meet. Unfortunately, Lithuania has to go early. They should have called a goal ending there when the ball was still bouncing and that last shot was just in split second and they could have won. The breaks are against Lithuania.
