Lebanon says 51 killed, over 220 injured in Israeli strikes Wednesday • FRANCE 24 English

Lebanon's health minister said 51 people were killed and more than 220 injured Wednesday, on the third day of major Israeli raids across the country. The United Nations said that some 90,000 people had been displaced in Lebanon this week, as Israel pounds what it says are Hezbollah targets across the country and the Lebanese group attacks Israel. FRANCE 24's Rawad Taha reports.

It's almost as if the ancient Semitic civilizations that once thrived in the region are now reenacting their own drama, with Lebanese and Israelis squabbling over defense policies like their ancestors once fought over trade routes.

That why traditionally, Lebanon and Israel get slapped around by the five power in region because they can grow more food and therefore have way bigger armies. 1. Turks to the north 2. Egyptians to the South. 3. Syrians out of Damascus. 4 Babylonians from the Iraq 5. the Persians.

We have seen the same playbook in Gaza. From a logistic view point, it is impossible to use 1000 facilities or buildings to store weapons or ammunitions. It just doesn't make sense.
