Congrats Leon! what an incredible performance of Leon! he really chased the overconfident Milak who underestimated his opponents. the announcer is right, Leon Marchand is a different swimmer now. Impressive

The European swimmers are really strong this olympics. As well as the Australians. Very nice to see more variety of countries winning gold.

Watching this presenter felt like time travel back to Soviet era TV News presentation style: stiff, mics on the desk, paper copy, and no video packages or SOT to illustrate or enliven the broadcast a little. Shocking.

Well, it is France24, maybe they do not have the money to pay for the video ‘excerpts’ rights.

well done....I wish the USA had such good coverage.

You know what happens when ou are told not to think about a pink elephant. The same principle applies to the mascott that should not be seen as a body part

Congratulations. But i would like to point out one thing. Sure im not the only one. Leon plus other athletes come to America. Get trained in America. By American trainers. Then compete in the Olympics. Representing their home country. Win gold. When their country folk think hey , he just won gold for our country. No. We should get the gold or whatever medal.

So if your training is everything, why doesn’t any US swimmer win? They’ve been trained longer in the US than Leon Marchand.
@inconnuneant89212 ай бұрын
And to think like that, you really don’t have to understand the Olympic spirit...

@@inconnuneant89212 times being proud…my guess is… you will respond again… Anyway, congrats to Leon, because he decided to train with the best.

This whole Olympics venue feels like an aging, nostalgic cabaret ... trying to sell originality and vintage too much... when what is required is simply excellent facilities.

Are you truly representing your country when your training comes from another country ?

He started swimming at 6. He trained for thirteen years in France, three years in the US.
