Why do I cry everytime I hear this.. my father was an alcoholic and would beat my mom so bad... I would pray to God to take him away... the scars are so deep. I believe the reason artists don't refer to Him as "Jesus", "Lord", "Christ", "God", "Abba" "Father" or refer to the Holy Spirit in songs anymore is so their music can be considered pop, country, ect & can be played on various stations under a variety of genres so not to be labeled exclusively Christian music and played solely on Christian stations. That's jmo.
