My dad recently passed away a couple weeks before Christmas this year, I had never been more depressed in my life and I thought of walking away from God and Christ, but I remembered having a couple of dreams where one of them seemed like it was a mistake and that he wasn’t actually deceased, but I remembered awhile ago when I was little he had this song on his playlist that he’d would listen to on our way to church Sunday mornings, I played this song for the first time in a long time and I remembered those memories and just remembered that Jesus is taking care of him and that he and my dad r watching over me, I just hope I can make them proud

Jake, I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your father's passing! My deepest condolences! My mom passed right after Christmas in 2020. It's so crazy & surreal. It was so suddenly too! I too have had dreams where she's calling from the hospital to say that she was mixed up with another patient, that she's really alive to please come pick her up from the hospital. While she was in the hospital they kept saying she was getting better and was going to be discharged. So she kept saying please bring my clothes. I want to leave the hospital, and see everyone. You know what else is weird; maybe a year or two earlier she began having a dream that she was flying up on a crowded airplane seated next to my grandparents (her parents) & she said she would ask where they were flying to, and they would just tell her some place nice don't worry. She said that she just felt such a peace, and would wonder what the dream meant. She would call constantly. During this time she has been gone there's been 8 losses including my husband, my aunt her younger sister who lost her husband, oldest son & sister all in the same year (my cousin and my uncle.) Both of my parents have passed now. I miss everyone so much, but at the same time I feel like I am totally surrounded by their love. God Bless!

Sometimes we need to be reminded by our Godly Father how to live and one night I prayed because I felt like even though I keep repenting I still sin and then after I opened the Bible and said to myself "Im going to open a random page and just read what I first see" and when I did this, I opened up Colossians 3 which is titled "Rules for Holy Living" which to me was a message from God. I looked at Colossians after that and realized that its only a few pages so the chances of me even opening to that exact page was very low. Its amazing because I prayed to God to show me something and now I feel so much better. Pray to God and he shall open your eye if you have yet to believe.

4 years of prison, 16 years addiction, getting my life back through Christ. Has been an emotional roller coaster. The walk with Christ is nothing short of amazing. My LIFE Has been a hardship. But I thank GOD through Christ everyday for ALL I've gone through. I've even attempted suicide before and woke up in the hospital because my Lord wouldn't let me give up. I'm so thankful I never did. And realize why we should be thankful of hardships. This is important what I'm about to say and I'm blessed to have this wisdom I'm about to share. I always wondered about how hardships are suppose to strengthen you. Over the years I've been wore down TO THE GROUND! It only got worse I had NNOOO strength left. I always thought I would get stronger I thought? It's not the hardships that strengthen you. It's CONQUERING the hardships that strengthens you. And because my life was EVER so hard. There's a scripture passage I don't know word for word yet still fully understand. Speaking on how they will be tried as gold is tried. The more you conqueror the more you gain. However I will say the best method is to avoid sin altogether. Make no mistake this Has NOTHING to do with salvation. Jesus is our salvation. But the more sins you conqueror, mental and physical, the more you gain. God is good...

Idk who needs to hear this but God put it on my heart to say this. I was born dead, the doctors did CPR and God brought me back. When I was 2 years old I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Every doctor my parents took me to said I was colicky. God lead us to a doctor at childrens hospital and he diagnoses me with kidney cancer. I had a wilms tumor on my left kidney the size of a softball. I went through chemothereapy and eventually got my kidney removed. I've been cancer free for 12 years! I've also been saved since i was 8. Al we have to do to be saved is ask and mean it from our heart and we will go to heaven when we die. If you remember anything that I'm saying let it be that all we have to do to be saved is ask and that god loves you and so do i! Idk who needed to hear this but God put it on my heart to say this. This song reminds me of my grandmother Francisca Silvestre Reyes, who is such a beautiful woman inside and out. Growing up, I've witnessed how she was able to cope with problems through God's help. She has brought me to church when I was young and the church with it's stained glass have become memories of comfort. In Beautiful, I listen to Francesca's song and see a girl singing in the rain and always find the church a refuge and comfort as I also remember a lovely woman who has stayed beautiful because of her God. I think it helps girls not feel bad about there beauty and realize that God really truly thinks they are beautiful to him, because girls look down on them selves all the time and try to change. unknown unknown Britt Nicole’s song Gold (2012) is referred to both boys and girls, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter if you’re a male or female, both are just as susceptible to bad image thoughts, loneliness, being with the wrong crowd for fear of being isolated/unloved, either bc of their own friends and/or their family situation. This mindset that males aren’t easily influenced like females has to stop.

i had this song stuck in my head all day at work and was trying to look up “beautiful, beautiful” the song was right in my face. i accidentally clicked this video not knowing it was the song that has been in my head all day. i tried to close the song but my phone froze and then i realized this was the song i was looking for. God wanted me to hear this. i’m in recovery for my addiction and still struggle with cigarettes, alcohol, and marijuana i just don’t know how to stop. i hate sin so much but i feel like i am tied to my addiction. i just pray God delivers me soon and has mercy on my soul for all the sins i have committed.

My dad is beyond an athlete and whenever he would train for running he would invite me to ride my bike next to him while he ran, and we lived in Florida and he ran on the Baldwin trail. And he would run for SOOO long. Once me and him made it to 19 miles! I loved going on that trail and once we were on it I never wanted to get off of it. It was soo beautiful. Because where I lived there was no wildlife besides little lizards and bugs. There were just buildings and cities everywhere. And the trail was surrounded by a forest for all like 100 miles it was (I’m not sure actually how long it was but I’m just gonna say 100). He would play the radio on the way home and this was one of the songs that they played what seamed like every time we were on our way home. And now every time I hear this song it always reminds me of that. And also because I feel like this is a song you would listen to in rain because almost every time we would be on our way home it was almost always raining.
