This was the very first non-classical song I ever learned on the paino - I won't tell you how long ago it was but I'm 72 hears old now, and I still play it every chance I get. I've played improvisations on the Henry Mancini rifts and chord progressions throughout the years and whenever I played in public, I would add this to the program in some fashion or another. Listening to this young and very talented man play my favorite song of all time, brought tears to my eyes and I couldn't stop throughout this whole permormnce. BRAVO, BRAVISSIMA. And my very best wishes to you Mr. Parrino for a long and happy career!

I believe the name "Lorilyn" is now very popular in the Philippines, but I have no idea how that happened. In case you speak German, here is what I wrote above translated: Ich bin mir nicht sicher, was Sie fragen. Ich wurde nach einer Freundin meiner Mutter benannt, der Erntekönigin von Parma, New York (einer sehr kleinen Stadt) von 1948. Ich glaube, dass der Name „Lorilyn“ mittlerweile auf den Philippinen sehr beliebt ist, aber ich habe keine Ahnung, wie das passiert ist.

Simply beautiful. I remember the very first time I heard this piece. I was sitting in the Century Theatre near Union Square in San Francisco on opening night. I live in NY City around the corner from 5th Ave. and tiffanys where the opening scene of this movie was filmed.
