The way Amazon works recently has completely changed in the UK this past month. The payment, complaint ect have all changed you can't get in touch with them via email now you have to do a call back or chat live now. Also quite a few items are age verified and you need to use id to receive your parcels. I'm not sure on the returns as yet as I haven't had to return anything as yet. I don't know if Amazon works different in the US though.
