Commonly asked question about where do I buy my liquidated product and pallets: I am very lucky since Indianapolis is a liquidation product/pallet hub in the midwest. There are at least a half dozen major liquidation companies here in Indy. Not all cities or states will have liquidators. You might have to drive half way across the country and that is not a joke. There are a couple of guys who live in North Dakota who once a month drive their semi truck down here to Indianapolis and load it up with liquidation pallets and then drive back to North Dakota.

Another question is where do you sell your items ? :D
@SwirlingSoul5 жыл бұрын
@@rick2bees He explains that in every single video. Facebook, poshmark, ebay, amazon, his own store and plenty other online platforms. Anywhere he can sell it, he will sell it. Most platforms have rules that prevent some sales, and some heavy things he will sell locally cuz shipping costs. Some things also go into his mystery boxes or dollar boxes in which he combines items that come along. gosh... Clint, I watch too many of your vids I think.. you've trained us well. 😁

Look up this store: It's $5. There's 3 locations in Missouri. They have like 80 big bins full of Amazon returns, they sell everything for $5 (Sat/Sun). Then as the week progresses they discount to 2/$5 all the way to 10/$5 (Thurs). If you find a box of multiple things it counts as 1 item. If it's several boxes taped together, it's 1 item.

Daniel Sifrit He might be able to create a virtual tour from the figments of his imagination. Trust me, I’ve done my research, and I have found no public or private record to support his claim of operating a brick-n-mortar location in Indiana, or anther was lose, nor is there any evidence that he sells online ANY of the junk he unapologetically embellishes the value on. And if he did, he would lose the shirt off his back, in very short order, especially when you account for the labor-intensive requirement and also the massive warehousing, packing, shipping , and commission fees ( this is relative to the negligible value of the trash he shows in his videos), not to mention all the other costs of running a business, no matter the size. I truly believe this guy is on SSDI (weight or psychological disability), his wife likely works, and he sells absolutely nothing he purports to sell. I imagine he has revenue in excess of $2k a month just from his KZbin ad revenue and donations from his subscribers, Just a feeling I have after watching a few of his videos, some basic research, and my extensive education on abnormal psychology and other pertinent topics. I believe he supports himself by his KZbin revenue and donations from his followers. Ho opens and then reseals the box of junk and ships it back from whence it came. Or, he asks the box to his dumpster after pulling out items from the box that has a value above $5 (I.e., 0-2 a box) . If Indianapolis is indeed a national hub for liquidators, it’s not far-fetched that he knows a guy, who knows a guy that will let him “borrow” a box, then return it a day later, with a promise to pay $5 for each box he fails to return. Remember, 90% of the junk in these boxes cannot be profitably sold online, and likely locally, because it would necessarily require massive amounts of overhead and other expenses to sell merchandise that has an average value of und r a dollar. You cannot sell $0.25 to $10 items online and expect to come out ahead. Only VERY large companies that sell massive volume at minuscule margins on products they can procure for mere pennies, not dollars, make profit. For example, the largest company in the world, Amazon!! And don’t get me started about the likelihood that over 90% of the products in these boxes are deemed defective or have a negative value to Amazon. Amazon margins on many products are pennies. If they have determined, through decades of analytics, that they cannot make a single red cent on a particular returned item, considering their cost savings from the unprecedented economies of scale they enjoy, among scores of other factors that allows Amazon to sell at price points even WalMart cannot or will not match, why would any sensible person believe that some John Q Public, who appears morbidly obese ( no offense intended, it’s a major factor that informs my opinion), would be able to turn a profit when his OPEX/CAPEX are 1000x+ more costly than that of the biggest company in the world.
@redwolfexr5 жыл бұрын
@@auditorofauditors862 umm, I make a decent enough profit on exactly the same sort of stuff. I agree that some of his values are a bit on the high side but its not all that hard to list it. (I also work full time, and sorted/flipped 2 pallet loads last week) Stuff like cell phone cases, for example. I have 20-30 listed and might sell one every few weeks. My lots are slightly different -- I get 30-40 cases per lot sometimes as mine are more shelf pulls than returns. Its just slow - maybe faster if you do a swap meet in the bad part of town be even there the Iphone 5s and 6s are pretty rare. Its the extra heavy duty "kid" cases that tend to move. The rest don't sell for enough to cover postage. I suspect he does not "own" his B&M but has a partnership or arrangement with someone who does. Never asked, because I know he isn't going to discuss it. Two full timers it would not be hard at all. I give a lot of stuff to charity too (homeless educational outreach and a non-profit children's hospital get most of my excess stuff that I can't sell -- school supplies and lower cost toys that are often open/returned.
@redwolfexr5 жыл бұрын
Oh, and FWIW I know exactly who his broker for Amazon stuff is. I use the same one in my home town. (and yes, they have locations in both places -- I have seen lots that sold there and then showed up here on Clint's channel. (they aren't actually pallets - they are box lots, the boxes are recognizable. So is packing material. He does remove the white "flag" label and keeps the "lot" inked on the box part of the box off camera.) Last lot I bought only had a few items particularly valuable but one stack of leather portfolios (there were over a dozen that sell for $25 on amazon) paid for it all and profit besides. The rest was pure profit. (and another 20 cell cases into my big box of "can't sell" crap) plus THREE huge full boxes for the hospital -- I think somewhere a toy section at amazon had a leak, I got a full lot of toys that were unsellable for damaged packages. Hospital was ecstatic though. (a true charity non-profit)

Your reasoning and failed attempts at conveying a logical answer to a quite common question that has been made by dozens of your subscribers just does not hold water, unless of course, the interior of your store is instantly recognizable by a significant % of the general public and/or your viewership. Only one question occurs to me, Clint.... How is the sound on those cheap ear-buds? If the buds are crap, you are charging about the right price at a buck. If it's better, you could get more. Audio equipment like that, if it works and has better quality than you would expect... I'd say $2.50 wouldn't be outrageous. That would get you $310 if you sold 124 of them and kept just the one. As long as we're talking... these boxes with HUNDREDS of items... maybe consider doing them differently. Open the box off-camera, separate everything out into different containers, figure out the value and sell price then just show us what you pulled out. Your vids will be shorter, you will spend less time making them, and you can come to a quick conclusion and grand total. Just a thought.
