The cascading effect is really nice to look at, and I'll admit that that was beautiful-looking pint, but you can get that with literally any nitrogen-infused stout if you pour it the same way, and there's about 100 better ones on the market than Guinness (I say this as a person who's only tried it outside of Ireland. Apparently it's much better over there).

It isn't any better so save your money. If in Ireland have O'Hara's Stout, O'Hara's Leann Follain Extra Stout, Trouble Brewing Dark Arts Porter, Galway Bay Buried At Sea Stout, or Sweetmans Porter - from Dublin) to name just a few. They are all better than the Budweiser of stout. It always amazes me how people have this blind cultish following of this particular stout. Ask them what other stouts they have tried and they would struggle to answer you. They may say Beamish, or Murphy's but they ain't much better than Guinness, if at all.

@@steveb6949 I've drank every stout you've listed and made dozens of my own. Guinness from a good pub (in Ireland) is still king IMHO. I won't drink Guinness in any other country, chain pub, hotels and certainly not nightclubs but a solid pub with good taps can't be beat.
