An inspiring video, a beautiful setting and wonderful acoustic. Most of all I was struck by this sincere woman's image of the puzzle and the one piece that was refusing to be squeezed into its proper place to complete the puzzle, because then it would lose its identity as a separate piece! Interesting: the speakers did not elaborate or develop the potential of this lovely metaphor, analogy. But it's there for anyone anyway, so thank you!

No, we aren't in charge. We don't have charge of the thoughts, do we? The thoughts then coalesce into beliefs, ideologies, concepts, all just illusory forms.

in reply to patimartinezv: Thoughts just arise in our consciousness. If we are very much identified in some certain thoughts and emotions, by believing they are an essential part of us, there is not much choice. Choice comes in, when you don´t identify with your own mindstuff, then you are without conditioning, and can sort of like really choose which thougts to express or follow, and which just to drop.
