@@MadaraJoestar doesnt matter . Ko power and weight isnt necessarily comparable. Prime example Anthony Johnson 170 -205 with ko power . Stipe came in light to have more cardio to wrestle him . Once he saw that wasnt going to work , he looked like a deer in the head lights . Thats why when he thought he hurt franics he ran in like an amateur , saw his only chance .
@adamseverydayenglish20133 жыл бұрын
@@MadaraJoestar Extra size doesn't necessarily matter. One of Stipe's main points is that he's nimble for a heavyweight. He can move more quickly than a number of heavyweights normally. Ngannou trained for Stipe, so he knew what to expect, and has a CANNON of an arm. The point being, if he gained the weight, what got Stipe to the dance in the first place would be diminished, and Ngannou can knock people out, big or small, so even if Stipe were heavier, he'd still be KO able, and he'd be a bigger target with more weight attached.

Not only did Ngannou beat the HW GOAT, but he beat him in every aspect of MMA. Stayed patient, mixed up his attacks, beautiful takedown defense also landed a takedown of his own. Stipe isn't the heavyweight GOAT. During his reign, he only ever beat washed up fighters. Lost to DC before he had back surgeries. Won against him twice after his back surgery, and when he was 40 and 41, and they were close fights because Stipe has 0 head movement. His boxing really isn't that good. Werdum, JDS, and Overeem were at the tail end of their career when Stipe fought them. Werdum didn't even put up a fight; one punch KO and he's gone. When he beat Ngannou, he was only training in MMA for 6 years; he had no fight IQ, no proper gameplan, and most importantly, he did not know how to wrestle. Stipe _still_ couldn't finish him. Why not? He has no submission game, and his wrestling wasn't that good to begin with. Stipe relied on a rock solid chin and a good base MMA skillset for his reign as champion. He ate some bombs from DC, but DC was an old man by then! He didn't fight people in their prime, and whenever he did, he got KO'd! (DC (end of his prime) and Francis (beginning of his prime). Most overrated fighter. He was underappreciated for a long time because he was never that good. Simple.

I would say a few years ago Stipe would have an excellent chance at “avenging” a loss to that Kong, but at 38, no way. Stipes been through a lot of wars. Francis is too big and strong.

Even if Ben wins, I'm sure Mojahed will have a piano fall on him or something. Ben is the OG (Original Ghost).
