Funny how you blame the leaders. As someone who was living in the african continent, I would proudly say that the reason of what is happening is europe and NA. These countries are the ones choosing these "bad leaders" and whenever you see a population trying to make a change we find ourselves punished and deprived from "your" finances, products and services. Do you know that our natural ressources get stolen and sold by these countries? Please try to read what France did and is doing in Africa. Or what USA did to Liberia, then make your mind.

As a Moroccan I know exactly what Francis is talking about , our Country is like the gate to Europe and people from all over Africa including our own Young people come by thousands everyday and dream of crossing that border, it's crazy how people walk thousands of kilometers and risk their lives to follow a dream or a better life for their families most of the time to reach countries like France that was one of the main reasons of the destruction and poverty of their country , it's like a full circle.

Colonialism 😂😂😂 that ended in 1945-1975. And all Africa is done is made children slaves now. That's what you have to show for it. Why don't africans ever mention the atrocities that the Arabs have done to africans. Always crying about white people. I see the south african guy going on the race hustle. I've been on a small boat in the Indian Ocean on a windy day. One of the scariest experiences of my life, yet I was close enough to the shore to swim, in maybe an hour. I can't imagine being in the middle of the deep blue sea where nothing is in sight... and not even knowing how to swim. Don't forget that this man crossed the Sahara desert, crossing the borders of maybe 5 countries illegally, before he even got to the sea. And I believe he made that Mediterranean crossing a few times, because he was caught and turned back

Others including myself haven’t been that successful infact I am worse off in Europe than I ever was in Africa. My fellow Africans we need to stop the grass is greener syndrome and make our Africa great again. We have abundant natural resources we just need to educate ourselves and learn to appreciate our continent.

I hate these type of stories all over the world as they indirectly teach people from 2nd and 3rd world countries that migrating without a plan actually works. This leads to illegal migrants risking it all and ending in host countries desperate, traumatised and sometimes resorting to illegal activities to see the dreams materialise. But what a beautiful fairytale of an actual success story as some are actual success stories for real
