Keeping busy. I hate it when a tree gets caught up in other trees and doesn’t fall cleanly.
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks Robert. I guess if everything went according to plan, it wouldn't make us use our improvising abilities. 👍

You’re quite the Woodsmon Brittany, other than the hang up nice tree falling 🏰🚀🚜🪵👍🇨🇦

Thanks, Billy! I am not the best at gelling or tractoring. I don't have much time to learn how. Francis is more proficient, and usually, we are limited on time. I'll get there. 💪😀💗 have a great weekend!

watch for a old gerrett 10 or 15 log skidder. There are bigger ones but there probably wider then your trails by a good bit. The 10 and 15 model are under 8 foot 6" wide, and can be moved with a 3/4 ton truck as there mabe 8,500lb for the 15. We run a model 15 and it's quite capable, for what it is. There's really nothing on the new equipment market, or even the last 30+ years like them anymore. . Engine is identical to a old Ford 8n or 9n tractor. I'd add pictures, but that's not a KZbin thing. Having a winch to pull on hung up trees is way safer in my experience. Or to help pull them over in the first place.

Thanks for watching Bruce. I wish my trails were a little wider so I could get a small skidder into the woods. Stay safe. 👍

you guys do a awesome job working together for sure ! Is that a CF Moto side-by-side in the background?
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Tom. Yes, it is a cfmoto uforce 1000. We picked it up earlier this year.
@fatefarmspa Жыл бұрын
@@bfoutdooradventures what’s your opinion on it? I’ve been going back-and-forth on CF Moto, or Polaris ranger. I have test rode both the Polaris seems a little smoother and quieter but is it worth $3000 difference. 🤦🏻♂️
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
@fatefarmspa We have had the cfmoto since March now and have only one complaint, and that is the jerky clutch engagement. The machine has done everything we have asked of it and performs great otherwise. The selling point for us was the 72-month warranty!! The polaris and kawasaki that we compared it to had a 6 month warranty. There are a lot of people that have swapped out the springs on the clutch and had great results, we just didn't want to take the chance of voiding the warranty.
@fatefarmspa Жыл бұрын
@@bfoutdooradventures thanks for the info! Our local dealer did suggest switching to a performance clutch kit if we buy one . so it must be a common issue
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
@fatefarmspa I never asked our dealership if it would affect the warranty. They are a good dealership for us, and if they give us the go-ahead, I will definitely do it. It's not expensive and would make the machine that much better.

hi there good sawing , hang ups happen , john
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks John. It's all part of getting trees from the woods I guess. I have seen your videos and I know what you mean. Improvise after the tree gets hung up. 👍
@jeffwhite2107 Жыл бұрын
You both put the trees down pretty good but after you cut a tree down and it’s hung up, please don’t climb up them anymore. Having a accident couldn’t be worth it if at all avoidable. 👍
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Jeff. If a tree isn't solidly stuck for weeks and doesn't wiggle when it's pushed on, I won't climb on it or be anywhere near the underside of it. Most accidents are avoidable. Thanks again, Brittany

Ok, haven't been watching y'all that long. Is that a hunting blind? I call draw on felling. Brittanys got hung up, but at least she didn't have to pull it over. Redo in next video.
@bfoutdooradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Brandon. That is a treehouse we built for the boys but does make a good tree stand also. I agree on the draw because mine was hung up also by the tree branch behind it and would need to be pulled down anyway. 👍👍
