I said it once, I'll say it again, this is the real NL MVP. This man put the team on his back and dragged them into the post-season. With all do respect to Ohtani, he is a great player, has ridiculous numbers, and will probably be the goat... but he didn't impact the Dodgers in the way Lindor impacted the Mets which, to me, defines a true MVP.

Completely insane that he wasn't nominated for that gold glove, let alone winning it this year. A truly spectacular season for him that puts him in rarefied air. He can comfortably stand amongst the greatest position players of this franchise: Daryl, Keith, Wright, Piazza, beltran, reyes etc etc.

That homerun against Atlanta saved the season. While they would have likely won G2, having to burn the extra starting pitcher and the A lineup for a 2nd game is exactly why the Braves went home so quickly. That could have been us if not for that homerun by Lindor.

Real ones know the homerun in Toronto at 3:40 was the catalyst to their run. If Lindor doesn't break a no-hitter in the 9th with a home-run, the Mets likely lose that game and miss the playoffs entirely.
